I’m Kaitlin, a photographer, wife and dog/bun mom!
Acorn Photographs came from a passion to create laughter and preserve memories. I’ve always loved photography and taking snaps of family and friends, and I love making people laugh and show off their true self. It’s been seven years since this adventure started and I am so in love with this business I’ve built. The people I get to meet and work with inspire me every day with their smiles and creativity, and each session is so different and filled with such awesome humans! Seeing my clients grow and sharing in their moments big and small fills my cup to the brim, and I hope to return the favour by giving glimpses of these moments back in every image.
My husband and I share our life with Miss Paisley, an opinionated yet fundamentally lazy beagle, and two little wrecking balls also know as the bunnies Sawyer and Turnip!

I am completely in love with not only Kaitlin’s work, but her sweet and genuine personality! My entire experience working with her, as my wedding photographer, was phenomenal from initial discussion, to more focused planning as my wedding day got closer.
Through the entire process she was helpful, patient, sweet, and easy going - making at least part of wedding planning less stressful. All communication with her was timely and smooth.
On the day of my wedding she was present and helpful all day long, going over and above to not only do an amazing job, but make me feel special as the bride; helping me put on my dress, offering to help where she could, and communicate between me and others setting up the wedding.
The pictures we received back are beautiful and so special!! Kaitlin is a gem through and through!
