Acorn Photographs came from a passion to create laughter and preserve memories. I’ve always loved photography and taking snaps of family and friends, and I love making people laugh and show off their true self. It’s been ten years since this adventure started and I am so in love with this business I’ve built. The people I get to meet and work with inspire me every day with their smiles and creativity, and each session is so different and filled with such awesome humans! Seeing my clients grow and sharing in their moments big and small fills my cup to the brim, and I hope to return the favour by giving glimpses of these moments back in every image.

Hi, I'm Kaitlin.
A bit about me. I'm a momma to a beautiful little human who teaches me something new every day. Some days it's all philosophical like 'slow down and live in the moment' and some days it's totally practical like 'blueberry yogurt truly does not come out of curtains no matter what you do'. My husband and I share our life with Miss Paisley, an opinionated yet fundamentally lazy beagle and the noodle of all spaniels, Duncan. I read a truly ridiculous amount of romantasy and yes ACOTAR did awaken the Disney princess slumbering in my heart. It is a fact that most things can be solved with iced coffee. I absolutely cannot say no to cheesecake. Photography lights up my soul and I am so blessed to be invited into so many beautiful moments in my clients' lives.
I've seen love stories starting a whole new chapter, families growing over the years, and actual babies being born! Like, how cool is that? I enter every photo shoot with the intention of capturing the raw, real, beautiful moments of your life in a truly authentic way.
